EARLY VOTING

Why wait for Election Day?  You might get busy, the weather might be bad.  You can vote absentee by mail, you can vote early at a satellite polling location or at the county auditor's election office, or you can vote at your regular polling place on election day--whatever is most convenient for you.  Here's how:

ABSENTEE VOTING

Request an Absentee Ballot with this Form and send in the form before Saturday October 27, the deadline to submit a request.  Monday October 8 is the first day absentee ballots may be mailed or voted in the election office.

Track your Absentee Ballot once voted.

SATELLITE POLLING PLACES

Monday-Friday, October 14-31, and Saturday October 27, 10am-4pm

POLK COUNTY AUDITOR'S OFFICE

In addition to during regular weekday office hours beginning Monday October 8 through Monday November 5, the Polk County Auditor's election office will also be open for voting 8am to 5pm on Saturday October 27 and Saturday November 3

 

The Election Office is at 120 - 2nd Ave., Suite A, downtown Des Moines.

GENERAL ELECTION DAY

 

Election Day is Tuesday November 6.  Polls are open from 7:00am to 9:00pm
